Wackenhut Services Wins NASA Contract

WSI recently won a contract to provide fire protection and emergency services to the Ames Research Center operated by NASA. The contract will employ 51 personnel and is valued at $38.7 million.

The South Florida Business Journal points out that WSI has other contracts with NASA:

"Wackenhut said it currently provides fire protection services at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., and at the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Titusville, as a part of Space Gateway Support, a joint venture company with Northrop Grumman."

WSI Helps Small Business Grow Larger

In addition to the personnel they employ at the various contract sites throughout the country and overseas, WSI also helps employ more Americans through partnerships with small and independent businesses. As WSI CEO James Long says, “Small business is the backbone of America’s economy . . .”
