Former NFL Linebacker Helps Wackenhut Secure Oak Ridge Facility

A former University of Tennessee and NFL linebacker is working for WSI securing the Y-12 nuclear complex in Oak Ridge, TN.

WBIR-TV sports director Steve Philips has the story:

"Former All-SEC linebacker Ben Talley is no longer protecting UT's goal line. Now he protects the Y-12 nuclear facility in Oak Ridge.

'I'm securing different portals in Y-12,' Talley said. 'I'm in different areas every day.'

Talley is a security officer for Wackenhut [Services Inc.]. It's not the NFL, but there are a few parallels.

'We've got to stay in good physical shape out here,' Talley said."
