Security Demonstration at Oak Ridge

Good story in today's Knoxville News Sentinel on a security demonstration yesterday involving Wackenhut Services, Inc.'s Oak Ridge Team at the Y-12 facility.

Officials dedicated two new training facilities - the Tactical Training Facility and the Live Fire Shoot House - both of which were completed ahead of schedule.

Following the demonstration and a detailed briefing on Y-12's latest security evaluation, Brad Peterson, an associate administrator for the National Nuclear Security Adminstration, told the News Sentinel he's confident the nation's stockpile of bomb-grade uranium at Y-12 is safe and secure.
